The American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. (APDA) is a nationwide grassroots network dedicated to fighting Parkinson’s disease (PD) and helping the approximately one million people living with PD in the United States live life to the fullest despite this chronic neurological disorder.

We are deeply honored by those who choose to create a lasting legacy through planned giving in support of APDA's mission.

Founded in 1961, APDA has raised and invested more than $338 million to provide vital patient services and educational programs, increase public awareness about Parkinson’s disease, and support groundbreaking research aimed at unlocking the mysteries of PD and ultimately ending the disease.

Through our nationwide network of Chapters and Information & Referral (I&R) Centers, as well as our national Research Program and Centers for Advanced Research, APDA continues to provide hope, support, education, and community to individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s disease.

To make planned giving easier and more accessible, APDA has partnered with Giving Docs, a free online estate planning platform that helps you create your will and protect the people and causes you care about most. No matter the size, your gift can help provide future generations with the support, education, research, and compassionate care needed to help everyone impacted by Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest.
